Cancellation & Refund Policy

 At The Virtual Accessory, we prioritize your time and aim to deliver efficient and trustworthy online notary services. To ensure smooth operations and accommodate all our clients effectively, we have developed the following cancellation and refund policy.  

 Appointment Deposit


To secure your preferred time slot, a deposit of $25 is required when scheduling your notary appointment. This deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your notary service upon completion. Your appointment will be confirmed once the deposit is received.


Cancellations & No-Shows


Notification of Cancellation:

If you need to cancel your scheduled appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time slot to another client who may need our services. You can reach us by phone at 469-380-3391 or email at contact@thevirtualaccessory.com.


No-Shows:

A "no-show" occurs when the signer fails to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice or cancels with less than 24 hours' notice. In such instances, the appointment deposit is forfeited for the first occurrence of a no-show or late cancellation. We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise; therefore, we will send you a reminder about the missed appointment and provide an opportunity to reschedule.


Refunds


Refund Eligibility:

Due to the nature of notary services, once provided, they are not be eligible for a refund. This includes completed notarizations or notary acts that have been executed and finalized. Refunds will only be considered for payments made in advance for notary services that have not yet been rendered.


Refundable Circumstances:

  1. Appointment Cancellation: If you cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice, any payment made in advance, excluding the non-refundable deposit, will be eligible for a refund.
  2. Service Unavailability: If we are unable to fulfill the notary service due to unforeseen circumstances or an issue on our end, a full refund, including the non-refundable deposit, will be provided.


Refund Request:

To request a refund, please email contact@thevirtualaccessory.com within 3 days of the original payment date. Refunds will be processed using the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable amount of time for the refund to be reflected in your account, as the processing timeframe may vary depending on your financial institution.
